Decent couple of sessions there Kev and a nice axle PB, big improvement in your overhead since that comp in dumfries in september.

Tonite @ T/hall

BOOM!!!!! A Bag of s**t

Squats worked upto top set of 140 x4, felt like s**t

Deadlift worked upto 160 x2

Latpull downs a few sets

Felt like s**t after & wanting to spew, ah well training been going well last few weeks so time for a blip. Back next week after some rest & eating.

Today @ IS

Huge squad today Including Drew & Martin B good to see them both! Been a while. Also met the Yank for the 1st time. Balls of steel lol

Axle upto a 80kg double, went for 90kg but cleans not great, only 2 attempts as wanted to try log again

Log press 80kg xfail (close) Had a rest then 80kg x1Pb.... Thank god cause its been ages coming.
Attempt @ 85kg but no. Always get greedy after a Pb lol

Farmers pick ups & hold, 80kg, 100kg, 120kg, 140kg prob the most ive held & happy to leave at that.....

Stones 100, 112, New 143 stone but being silly. 130 got to lap again but still a bit away from loading

Done

Big T made the new stone with a Slater mould & what a great job he has done, solid stone & a pro build..

Happy to get a decent workout after Squat & Deadlift joke the other nite. Log Pb may not be top class but overhead always been awful & glad its finally going well on all lifts HAPPY HAPPY Grin

The 80 was a peach and 85 not too far off. I think what Martin was saying about the rack position on your axle could be true on your log, cleans are solid then you need to keep as tight as a drum and not fanny around thinking about it and you'll be smashing s**t up

Rear delts on machine 4 sets

Low Incline smith machine, 50 x10, 70 x4, 90 x1, 70 x4

Seated Dumbell press, 20 x6, 25 x4, 30 x2, 25 x5

Bench 60 x10, 70 x6 80 x4

Dips & Gunz

Plan was more volume on bench but triceps fried quick tonite.

Nothing decent but steady & feel progress is still coming.

Thursday Either Deadlift & Front squat or Squat & SLDL. Not sure but will decide on the day. Cant Squat & Deadlift in same session so need to alternate from now on & STICK TO IT...........................

Done & felt weak as.............


Today @ IS

Axle 1 clean & press, 40 x8, 50 x6, 70 x5, 80 x3, 90 xfail
Jerk on 70 & 80 felt decent for reps but blowing on the 80's. Too tired after that
Played with log a bit & 40kg dumbell press.

Arm over arm, 300kg chain x20m. Did a couple of runs with this, been a while but felt good, tech not spot on but decent enough.

Stones, thought about a max so just went 100kg, 120kg & 130kg, couldnt even move it off the floor.

Done & feel wrecked today. 1st week back @ work = nasty lol

Squat form & strength a good improvement felt could of done more but will leave it for a fortnight & 170kg double. !st week of squat & SLDL & need to keep it up as hope will bring deadlift up too...................

Yesterday @ IS

Not much going on really but turned up, just

Yoke 20+m 180kg x3 runs, 200kg x2 runs.
Best run of the day was the very last one will do more yoke now we have a lighter one to play with. 200 & 220 next time.

Frame carry, 150kg, 2 runs. fat too light but left it at that, attempted 250kg but legs dead so gave up for the day.

Hammies tight after Thursday so left stones for today

Seated dumbell press, 25 x4, 30 x1, 25 x4
2nd rep on 30's arms went out & messed up line, 1st rep easy too mmmmmmm

Some dips & Gunz then run

Not much but should keep the cobwebs away

Front squats a few 100kg doubles

Some chins & Lat pulldowns

Not a massive session but happy to get the 180 x4, maybe another one there but will leave it till next time & attempt 180 x6.

Happy some steady progress is coming along on most lifts! Will be happy with a few Pbs when its time to test for max next. Not for a while tho Happy
