Solids benching tonight - starting to feel the benefit of working with a belt I think, feel much tighter. Fatigued quickly after the first set of MPs - I hate just switching movements like these in and out for a week..

Ab work, grip work

Tried to work on a slightly better tech for deadlifts, looked better in terms of my back shape - but my hips still rose a little before the bar.

Yeah, I bet it would. I do my SLDL with no belt, but still belt up on normal Deads. I think it'd effect my form if I didn't, moreso than Squats.

Yes mate, I am so busy with uni/work I haven't got time to sit and work all this s**t out - I like just being given my training for the week and just getting on with it.

Plus my progress is pretty damn good!

Was a little apprehensive about my squats - sore hip flexor and had knee treatment this morning...things felt ok when I got moving, just got to be careful not to chase numbers now though - biiiig PB there for the taking!

Bench felt great - probably over did the comp sets and was tired for the board work!



I have also decided what comps I am doing for the rest of the year - I will be competing on 21st April in Cheltenham and then the English in August as a build up for the Brits.
