Only thing I'd recommend is at least one pair of rubber bumper plates or thoroughly rubber proof the floor, for the noise and for the floor! I've put a few holes in the conservatory floor the past few years using only a single rubber flooring. Something like rubber laid over plywood would work well, especially with a pair of bumpers.

Nice tips brah.

I've got some precious neighbours (a retired MP, a lawyer, Oxford academics, some loaded Iranian woman who seems to do nothing and ermm some doctors) and I reckon they'd be a bit funny but we're moving in less than 2 years.

About 3 grand, 80% of that on travel and comp costs, rest on equipment, shirt, wraps etc. Gonna be spending £400 on plates next year, need another bar as well, the travel won't stop... Never added it up before. Puts the £400 spent on my Gibson and £300 for new set of irons into perspective! Do I win?

Some varied responses here. I think the take home message is that I could buy a rack, plates, bar etc with the money I've spent on gyms and travelling to gyms !
