Worst ive seen ( on the telebox) was Gary taylor trying to ref the incline log at UKs few years back , in a shopping centre , he was giving lift and down signals on his own to 2 athletes at a time going head2head , just didnt work , constantly shouting "Wait for my call" as they were obviously hearing each others signal, shambles!

If anyone wasn't sure about competing this year or is thinking of it next year I would say definitely go for it. The comps have been well organised and the testing is all in place. I'm sure next year will be even better.

Your Dad was awesome Saturday Will , made it so easy for us loading and reffing, heard a lot about the Sanderson scoring system but still surprised how slick he had it set up with hard copies and the projector , hope hes back for it next year Happy

10 rounds sparring? You posted up that you had done 10 mins on a bag with coaching?

Or do you mean Pat was sparring?

What do you mean a standard bag? Standard weight? I don't plan on hitting anything daily at this point and won't throw anything heavy at mine for a while. In the long run i think it will pay off for punching power.

In your previous post you mentioned having the bag at home as you wanted to train "multiple times daily" I took that as hitting the bag every day , if your not planning on hitting it hard then why the need for a super heavy bag? Honestly think you would be better off with a medium weight bag , couldnt you get off cuts of underlay from work? That packed tightly in a large bag would give a decent weight whilst also having a little "give" , be far better on you joints imo.

Am interested in this action. How much you bet for one week?

You will be better off using a standard bag at home for daily sessions and just going on the heavy bag when your at the boxing gym , hit the heavy bag every day and your joints will be f**ked within a month , wrists and elbows especially!

I kind of knew that would be yours and Mickeys verdict , do you honestly believe you would last 30secs with someone of Dazs level? You wouldnt just be covering up , you would be showing him your back and flailing around like a drunk , your lack of any kind of ringcraft would have you falling over your own feet and not knowing which way is left lol - You dont seem to understand just how much work these guys put in to be able to look so composed in the ring , you need a reality check mate.

Didn't he fight big Rogie a few years back?

Yeah thats him mate , had a blistering start to his pro career but by his own admission went off the rails a bit , lost to Rogan on points and narrowly lost to Chisora as well , back on form now and looking dangerous again , hopefully get a British title shot by next year..........if Paul hasnt scared all the other heavweights into retirement Tongue
