Member 1806, 3968 posts SQ 210, BP 140, DL 240590.0 kgs @ 89kgs UnEq | Thanks a lot to mark for the best day ever, thanks to the loaders, every one who came to watch, and all the lads who competed, that comp was brutal, New I was in for a hard day especially with the first event, im s**t at farmer still gutted I didnt finish the course, them suit cases ripped my hands to pieces, think I got just over half way on the way back. Really happy with my 115 log and only just missed the 125. Yoke was about what I expected really finished it in about 27 secs I think. So pissed of with oh medley should av been an ok event for me, took a gamble going for the barrel first hate the thing, only got the 105 axel, should have done better. Deadlift went as good as I thought it would 6 reps so fairly happy. Squat was my highlight 5 reps by far the best iv done. Stones got the first 4 up in about 23 secs but the 160 was too much today. All in all a great comp and learned so much a bit dissapointed but was deff 13th best on the day, also pagan was f**king amazing all day, and jw is a monster the man is a machine. Good look in the uks to all of u. | ||

I was 3rd up ..brandon was quick , eric had a couple of drops so i was pretty pleased to be honest , no drops way my goal. i ended up 12th ..which was pretty poor BUT i did what i set out to do. logpress
4th i lost BIG points on this ..nailing that 125 would have given me 3 or 4 points such was the 'logjam' at 115 !!! and boy was it close !! i did rush a little , which was mentioned but looking up at the very high celing was disorietating ...i was all over the shop and ultimatley thats why i failed. 280kg yoke x 20m
again i did what i set out to do..BUT the other lads were quicker and i dropped way down !! i was delighted !! 12th 230kg deadlift for reps
i was out quite early so this too the lead and i was pretty pleased , although pagan says i may have stopped early i genuinly misheared ben when he said 30 seconds left ... i did have a stab at a 10th but got it to my knees HAPPY 5th i think OH medley
4 implements in 65 seconds the 64 just wouldnt sit on my shoulder.. not going for the 120 first showed what little confidence i had in getting it BUT i was delighted when i nailed that badboy !! 5th i think - should check wills scoresheet 200kg apollons axle squat
7 was the lead going into this..i got 8n and failed a 9th ..this shows how poor my squat training has been since i stopped catts on a tuesday BUT i took the lead abnd was very pleased with 8 5th or 6th will check atlas stones
NOW this was my biggest dissapointment !! the 100 spun on the corner and fell and i had to do it again !! by the time i got to the 135 i had not much tacky and less strength !! very very dissapointed ... i was in 6th going into this but it was a low score from the boar !! 11th i think mabie 12th and there we have it ..GODDA be consistent !!! my man pagan was AWSOME !! i beat him on 4 of the 7 events but that matters not as its across all 7 events and pagan got his s**t together on his 'poor' events !! dont look at the regional comps ..this is the one that decides the best and finishing 9th was pretty good..looking back i did almost everthing i set out to do ! so i have to be pleased WOW !! what a high standard !! probably the highest standard 90kg comp in the world congrats to everyone involved esp stotty for stepping up and giving it 100% all the way and brandon for being a cool guy and hanging with the big dogs - shane ..arram and champ james !! (arram was awsome BTW) | ||
