Shorts split on the 1st squat, poor by me wrong type of shorts for the event should have known.....2nd time around my head wasnt in it, shame as felt strong warming up, 150 for a rep set after to burn some frustrationas much as anything, ive been on 1-3s for a while now, got some free time coming up next few months so about time i started hitting some reps up and adding some extras session through the week!

Given a distinct lack of training recently pretty happy with this, but i need to start cleaning in the 130s consistently now, im sure i can get my leg strength to point where i can squat clean 150 with some spare, consistency is the key!!!

Havent power snatched in donkeys....but i still managed to equal my best....i think this shows how little i have delved into the oly disciplines but equally that i am well rested.....8 years plus strength training does take it out of the body......accumulatively speaking!

Would like to think 100kg can happen in the coming weeks with consistency....squat were ok....still sore quad wise from previous session not bad at this stage. Push Presses I worked on a sharper dip which helped alot...stopped at six. Was down for some floor pressing but had no spot so decided to do some tng bench with the safety pins in...stopped at 3 here.

cheers mish....hows training? i promise i will video it if/when it happens anything less is barely over bodyweight for me though ...besides 3 digits overhead to me is a decent milestone at this weight.

Thanks Ali but im still a ways off impressing myself, will be a while before im benching decent numbers again too no doubt. Hows the deadlift coming?

The original intention was go to the gym smash out a session then do the spring cleaning. Ended up the other way around, 6 hours later i did the below which given 6 hours of lumping stuff around and generally not having my head on it....i was relatively pleased



Cleans

high hang - barx5x3sets

hang bottom of thigh - 80x1x2

power cleans

120kgx2 (step back in between) first time ive taken this jump in weight (100-120)...felt fine


front squat - no belt

140kgx4 left 5 the rep due to losing grip which i never felt settled with on this bar.


That was that...the signs are there for more soon will start deadlifting again soon as i feel i have a significant pb pull in me before xmas.
