Is there a rough percentage or does it differ for everyone? Of course to test this I could just go and do some paused reps, but its more for estimation than anything. How much harder is a properly paused press to do? | ||

Moral of the story train the way you play as I am slowly learning. Source my best tng with 190 = 2 my best paused is now 3 after doing 10 weeks of paused training. | ||

With bench now I pause every first & last rep to get the pause in every session Actually struggle with TnG as it's not something I'm used to; more so when going for a PB! | ||

At the moment, I like to work up to a top single or set paused, then back off and do a bit of volume touch and go. | ||

It seems to be working very well and I think I'll definitely be using a combination of the two from now on (previously only did paused in the week leading up to a comp!). | ||
