Did 3 sets of pull ups but I was getting pain in my right shoulder.

Overall good session. Had a bad day, hardly any calories and got in the gym a lot later than I wanted to. Pleased that I hit my target though. Currently icing my shoulder.

I honestly think 200 was there tonight mate, i used to Laugh at 'structured' training but theres no denying you are getting consistantly stronger, 200 deficit will be great to see!

Cheers riain, I'm in no rush mate especially after my back issues last year. Got years ahead of me to get stronger.

Also did a transit van pull for 20 metres.

Head wasn't in it today just enjoyed being outside in the sun for once.

After warming up with my usual low bar position it became clear my shoulder wasnt going to tolerate it. So I went back to high bar for the first time since april maybe? No idea whether months of low bar squatting has improved my high bar squat or if Im just nautral stronger with high bar? Anyway Ill carry on high bar my head hurts Confused

This was the start of my last training cycle before my powerlifting competition. So far so good.

Cracking deficit set mate, probably couldn't do that myself. My best is 130x10 on back squat, you should shoot for 132x10 next time!

Looking strong all round! Bodyweight mid 80s?

Thanks mate I started with a very slow build up on the deficits it seems to have paid off, havnt pulled from the floor since november! No idea what I could do from the floor though. LOL! I think next weeks set is 135! Bodyweight was 87 in the morning.
