open up on somthing easy and sink that MOFO ,then i think they would give you that depth for a second lift ,but fail it on a 3rd

I know for a fact that the North West refs are partial to a croissant or two... you better sink that opener real deep.. leave a stain on the floor Grin

trained at the farm today ,good to meet Lurkio ( i can vouch for his seriously bruised thigh) and see Finch and the rest of the Farm crew!

as per my instructions from Mr Kendrick kept the deadlifts light and tried to concentrate on driving through my heels and not engaging my back too early! Trained with a 14 year old lad ,and I was quite suprised to find I did'nt want to punch him every time he open his mouth,so either he was a nice lad or I'm becoming more tolerant of teenagers ,I suspect the former!

deadlifts 160k 3/3/3/3/3/3/3

then some of the s**test benching I have evere done in fact it was so s**t I'm not even going to log it!

Good to train with you on Bench Ed. Don't beat yourself up over it mate, we all have off days, and besides training with new people, the video on the go, and a nice long 'paused' bench attempt all added to it.Wink Grin

Young Ashley is a good lad when he concentrates on what he's doing. If he nuckles down with it, I reckon he'll do well. Either that or he'll discover girls soon and disappear!

I know what you mean though, I usually want to punch all teenagers!Grin Grin

Interesting on the deadlifts. So what's the plan now then? Only 2 weeks to go. I'm going to do heavy bench on Monday, absolutely nothing on Wednesday and then work up to each opener on the Friday (150/105paused/210) then maybe the Tuesday after do some extremely light work just to keep the groove there.

Quite a lot I would say! Grin

That's the reason I'm plumbing for the 210 opener. Figure I'll probably be knackered by the time I get to DL so I want to go for 227.5 on my second attempt.
