What are your most desired aspects of a good gym? Bars? music? equipment? space? dropping weights? mirrors?

If i could create my ideal gym, i think it would have to have:
- motivational music, not crappy dance stuff.
- enough bars so theres no waiting for half hour just to do something
- bumper plates so you can attempt to max out without worrying Happy

Yours?

I'm building it at the moment ... Mainly so I can train whenever my schedule allows ... Free time for me might be at midnight or four in the morning ... I never can tell

I think that the ideal gym is more about it having the ideal people to train with rather than having an equipment range that'd make Louie Simmons jealous.

Equipment wise it'd have a Texas Power Bars, plenty of calibrated plates, proper racks with platforms attached to them, and mobile adjustable benches to go into the racks for benching. It's also have heavy enough dumbbells for everyone, and the racks would all have chining bars and parallel bar dip attachments. Things like a leg press, GHR, lat pull downs etc are optional.

More importantly, the people there would be awesome. You'd never have to wait to squat because some asshole is curling; you'd never have to be careful when doing cleans because some bodybuilder phaggot wants to pose in front of the mirrors; you'd never have dicks with twig legs telling you not to squat below parallel because it's bad for your knees; and every mother f**ker would put weights past after them.

PSF is pretty much there. Maybe some out side space to carry out truck pulls, and other event training that requires large kit.

I'm Building it slowly atm, got fed up of all the gym irritations-people being in the way when you try to lift, having to wait ages for things etc. I think i'm starting to run out of space though.
