I approve of the use of the word 'flange' wholeheartedly

Tha gym wa**ers that make my Piss boil are the space hopper crew who use the only open (deadlift area) to do there homo sets on these big fagget balls, or you get the "I'm going to walk over the bar whilst you are still doing a set" wa**ers, but the one that really REALLY pulls my pisser is the bloke who ask's for your advice on training, food and supps and even though you are living proof that diet and the way you train are the most important things to achieving goals they look at you like your talking crap and walk of and don't do anythin, my brother started training with me the other week and after a few weeks of sorting his life out he is now getting some good gains and fast, iv no problem with anyone just as long as I'm left well allown. RANT OVER

Few things that piss me off are the gym wa**ers that decide to walk in front of you when your mid way through a clean and press, pull up a bench bang behind were I'm squatting, asking how many sets I've got left in squat rack so they can do some barbell curls! and the common one leaving weights all over floor!!
One douche tried telling me after I'd finished squatting, I should do leg extensions instead of squatting, a it builds better size!

You wear one don't you?
No, as it happens. The only thing I have ever worn on my head at Adlington is a wooly hat when it's -3 inside in the winter.
I sometimes wear something that looks a bit like a bandana when driving the car top-down, as I have more than enough hair to get knotted up by the airflow.
Honestly, if you're judging people based on what they're wearing on their heads, you need to chill, precious.

I think enough people have pointed out who the wa**er seems to be here to redress the balance, tbh.
Speaking of interesting headgear - anybody remember The Cat In The Hat, from the original Sugden@Sugden days?

This is a case in point. A bloke written off partly on the basis that he's not in the correct training uniform. And if he's training for cosmetic appearance, why shouldn't he check his arms out? He's checking his progress and probably there's some vanity there too. A bit like lifting single rep maxes.

Nope, nothing like single rep maxes. It is deliberately using the equipment in the wrong manner, as well as a health and safety hazard as the 7tf bar when used at 90 degrees out of the correct position sticks out over the edge of the platform. Someone who uses a calf raise as a squat machine would get called a wa**er, etc., ergo this guy will also get called a wa**er.

But that wasn't the basis of your original objection at all, was it? Otherwise you would have mentioned that, rather than the fact that the guy was checking out his arms in a vest. Post hoc health and safety comments don't undermine the analogy.

That is entirely the basis of my objection, as I clearly mentioned him doing all of his exercises facing the wrong way. It should have been self explanatory that this is also misusing the equipment. The fact that he does it so he can check out his arms changes my opinion of him from "idiot" to "wa**er".
