Bit of a weird one tonight. Totally f**ked up the line of my pull on the first 205 attempt, left me with nowhere enough legs to lock it out (even though I gave it a damn good shot). Head on, regroup and try again. Got it: just. I didn't even think I had managed to lock it out (despite everyones reassurances!) - video shows I did though.

Hang pulls have been prescribed to sort out this weakness (which is now right at the top of my lift). If I sort it I will make a lot of progress quickly, if I don't then I won't make any.

Starting to get a bit of a plan for squats again now the groin seems well on its way to recovery. 10s at the weekend for volume and to whack some size on again, then 3 triples on Wednesday.

sweet new PB, awesome!

So rare to nail a new PB on the second attempt as well, good boost mentally. Now you know you have done it once, you may do it again.

Craking PB Rob, even more impressive that you got it at the second attempt.

Good s**t mate. You're right too, get that lockout sorted and there's plenty more in there. I dont think it'll be too long before you're ripping up 500lbs.

Adductor strain (probably the gracilis muscle I thought) so right next to the hamstring. Was fine during activities but basically flared up nasty afterwards, bad enough for me to have a quite pronounced limp on occasions. Obviously stretching will help and I have being using the 'fanny machines' to pump blood into the area.

I'm convinced mine was brought about by upping the weights on squats too quickly without enough volume to build the smaller muscles up.

Did you have any lumps or anything or was it just sore.

Nope, no lumps. Could be scar tissue or maybe even something medical. Might be worth getting it looked at.

Nice work on the dumbells mate. Apparently the other 42.5kg dumbell is in the side room, I reckon if we go to them and insist they put it back together we might get somewhere.
