ha ha, yeah competition is what keeps pushing you though, so it's all good. Yeah pretty pleased with my build up to the euro's so far, strength is their so just need to concentrate (like you) on technique over the next few weeks to get things spot on on the day... looking forward to it now!...

Quite pleased with the day overall. Loads more on deadlift, hopeful for a 320 squat with a bit more practice!

Yep it's the Europeans next.

I should probably mention that there wasn't any testing at this squad session. This was nice of them, as it gave us 7 weeks between getting tested at the last squad and the Europeans. I hope everyone managed to get a quick Propionate cycle in and gave your injection sites a nice break from all the Suspension!

Errrr.....feels like it was a bit of a s**t day today...anyway

Started off doing some demonstration thing for someone I don't know.... I did a 57" box jump which felt comfy, and some short sprints....

Then I broke in my new adistar 08's with a 125kg jerk. Alright I suppose....

Then I did a 212.5kg Olympic Squat PB, but I thought I might have been a bit stronger than this....there wasn't a single kg spare.


Then I did some powerlifting s**t....

280kg x 3 squat

Then some 15" deadlift

385kg.... PB I think, felt horrific

Then some bench....

up to 140 raw, then shirt on, 160 to 2 board, 170 to 1 board, 170 to touch, and left it there.

Squats... Not bad, not great... Ticking over

290kg x 2 I'm just trying to go as deep as possible...

13" deadlift

380kg Pb nice! Easier than Wednesday when I did 385 from 15"! That's promising.

Thanks guys!

I started the session thinking 'I want a 13" PB today'.

Partway through I thought....'hey....what is my current 13" PB...'

So I checked and it was 375, and then I thought 'oh for f**ks sake....'

Yeah I was hoping to only have to do 370 which I thought was more likely. 380.... no chance. But then it was really smooth so happy days! Bodes well.
