2x40k kettlebell shrug 44 reps (did 44 as I thought they were 44's. Wish I'd of known before as the last few were hard)


A few horrible reps on squats but seem to be finding out what I'm doing wrong

So after hurting my hip a few weeks back it's been recovering. Rack pulls last thurs. Fine. Deads Tuesday. Fine squats last night. Fine

tonight played 5 a side and it's killing. bas***ds

60/70/80/85 all for easy 3's but wobbly. 90/1 95/clean only thought I best stop before I fell over

deads standing on a 50 and 20k plate. About ankle height
60/100/140/160 for 3 180/2 200/f at knee

19" deads as it's where rack went
140/3 180/3 220/1 240/1 250/1hitched. Could of got more but would of been hitched so why bother

ez bar curls and lying extensions supersetted. Boom

10/30/40/50 for 10 55/6 30/15

So last night all I did was wood log press of 74k and 94 clean

40 and 50k squat cleans but flexability held me back

100k bench for a double



Today I went mostly to run as it was raining out. Went to gay gym so pounds

1 arm dumb snatch no rest apart from unracking 30/40/50/60/70 all for 3 on both 80/1pb 90/1pb l+r. 100/1 c+p

cable face pulls. 1 rep above head 1 at forhead 1 at chin repeat. 100/21x3

dislocates 10x3

shoulder stretches

run 1.5 mile in 12 min 40 secs. Didn't select the right speed for some unknown reason as it's not hard maths is it. But just kept at pace fir fun. Easy sprit finish in there anyway

After my interview this week I'm gonna start a new plan. These past few weeks have been fun and a nice break from preparing for a comp I never did. I feel more rested and less niggly. Time to get stronger again

back to 5/3/1. 3 day a week so each day repeated after 9 days. Gonna try not doing too much "accessory" and stick to the simple things

strict press oh 5/3/1
chins and dips weighted up to a rep max for the day
abs

power snatch (partly a warm up so small jumps up to a weight that I liked)
squat 5/3/1
forward sled drags

cgbp 5/3/1
chins and dips 3 sets for max reps
abs

4
power cleans (same idea as snatchs)
deads 5/3/1
backward sled pulls

my logic been chins and dips rule. And sled drags really target my quads and hams/glutes respectivly and allow for some conditioning work
