Had a little go at bench press, on the most awkward/s**tty set-up. Went up to 130kg. More than I thought I'd manage, so pleasantly surprised. That's pure carryover from press-ups and HSPUs.

Wayne you are ideally built to be 2 3rds of a powerlifter

You could take the bench record(3 lift) in the East Mids Masters 1

I have no plans to squat or DL again. If I had access to a half decent bench I'd maybe have a little go. I think I could very quickly get back up to 140/150.

Did some CoC today. Got the handles to touch on one of my attempts with the #2. Never been great at these things.

Do you think it’s safe to ride a bike with air flying in your face? The city here is quiet here. There are strange creatures at night who can care less and want that bottle! Horton heard a who!

I've just ridden my bike in windy conditions actually. I have some calories to burn off. I demolished two 360g slabs of Dairy Milk over the last two days, among other things.

Yes! This is good to burn calories and dehydration was how I lived my childhood until I was 22. Youd be surprised wat what’re water is worth to a thirsty dog, high school wrestling. /but this is how the squat h moves funnely past you but freezes your mind time warp through air mimoveing. How do you think you would see one?

All equipment that calculates is one sided. There is more than light. Many plants blossom in the dark so thereofooore the planets pull on the suns light just as hard as light pushes.
Do you train more pushing or pulling?

Probably about equal at the moment. I probably favoured pushing during my strongman days. I was always strict pressing logs and barbells.

Did some experimental stuff earlier. Tried front squatting my 57kg Inch DB. Got fed up with the difficulty of holding it after 12 reps. Then had an abortive attempt at back squatting it, taking it from a very high and wobbly pile of Argos catalogues! I had 2 straps attached to the handle as "handles". Then I tried glute bridges with it on my lap, which I actually quite liked. 2 sets of 25.

I must have been witness to your last (maybe) 500lb pull.

jt - Grin

Dan - apart from farting around with some DOH axle deads when I trained with Will, I think that 230kg was my last DL.

It was easy.

You also made me bang out a 140kg zercher.

I remember you doing 1 arm strict presses with a strength shop dumbbell? What kind of weight and reps was this in your prime pressing years?

I've never used a Strength Shop one. I've got a 57kg Inch DB, which I never actually strict pressed. I've strict pressed a 57kg normal DB. I 'strict' pressed WILLSAN's 51kg Inch DB once. I didn't really do much repping in those days, and I didn't really do much strict DB work when I was doing strongman. That sort of stuff came later on.
