I'm active on a Bigfoot forum. There is a thread about how the big guy manages to "disappear". There is talk of them entering and exiting "portals".

Now we’re getting somewhere!
There is a place where I lived real close to where I live now named Manchester.
They are not used to your Waze now if I were to go there and ask how many kilometers it is to another location they may look at me funny and assault me!
