woefully weak Member 4748, 1506 posts SQ 157, BP 133, DL 260550.0 kgs @ 104kgs UnEq | I think people have just gotten very strong. But I do think stone runs could be heavier. I’d like to see some ending in the 230kg range.

I do think the usual Giants run of 100 - 180 is a bit too light though. Although to put it in perspective you have guys like Paul Smith and John Pollock who can load a 200kg stone and yet often struggle on that run, so clearly it isn't easy.

Tackyless stones is primarily a grip and upper body test of strength imo. Tackied stones are testing the hips, whole posterior chain, legs, core etc etc

We will just end up with records being set too high and never getting replicated in true contest format....which is proven....to be much much harder I wouldnt class it as an official record either, just wus record if thats there rules but i think the weighing of the appartus is a big step forward. Id like to see this a lot more often in strongman as lets face it, you never really know what the f**k your lifting. Especially for national and international comps all apparatus should be weighed for all athletes, judges to see in my opinion.

But if your classing tacky stones as a seperate entity, then, I guess the stones are too light

I know an axle that's been used at a bunch of super series and wsm qualifiers weighed very light, the giant yoke last year weighed very heavy obviously to the point people got injured. At europes couple years back women's frame was supposed be 220kg but it was 180kg, the deadlift was supposed be 220kg was probably 240kg+ as they puts men's class weight on by mistake. I'm sure it happens all the time, just feel it be way more professional to have all appartus weighed but maybe that's my grip side coming out where everything is always weighed to the gram.

They will all be capable of loading at least a couple. But the heavy stones will really Seperate the men from the boys and would be an awesome way to complete the final Stones in the heats can be a little lighter Maybe 150 170 190 200 210

Member 3757, 1746 posts SQ 202.5, BP 110, DL 255567.5 kgs @ 82kgs UnEq | I would like 150-170-190-210-230 for the final. I feel like it’s been the same weight for about 10 years. Was pleased to see a 210kg once but need it more often. Also, wouldn’t mind if atlas stone wasn’t in every single giants live/WSM. There are other events.
