Some good advice above I've had to do similar in the past I was much lighter then and 15 yrs younger but I simply did 10 10s and cut down rests then cluster 5sets rest then 5, then finally count out 10x10.in your head.

As many as you can in one go. Rest 30 seconds. Repeat until 100. Repeat every day in less sets.

ive just always wanted to be able to do it , when i was a teenager I remember sitting in the corner in the local pub we could get served in and talking in awe about some lad at my mates school who could do 100 press ups , I guess i'm still in awe.
I still think its a reasonably impressive achievement

Glad you are, were, in awe of me Happy

I tried this 6 months ago. I am still recovering from the shoulder impingement.

You are supposed to use your hands

Have been semi good at press-ups occasionally, including a few times when I could do 4 or 5 sets of 50 - but I've never done more than 60 in one go.

Tried the ultimate lazy press up using a red slingshot made it shocking easy lol

I do sets of 40,30,20,10 every other day. The aim is to add a set of 50 once 40 is too easy. It's taken about a month to get to this point from just s single set of 20.

I used to have press up competitions all the time at boxing and at school, it was amazing how competitive everyone got!

I would start with a number that is fairly easy let's say 20 for example. I'd do 20 twice in one day then each day add 2 reps, so 22,24 etc until you can't manage those. At that point I'd drop back down to about 10 before the failure point and work back up again only adding 1 rep each day. You can supplement this with additional sets of 15 or so throughout the day.

I'm clinically obese and went about my 50 pushup challenge by doing one set to failure every day and increasing by 1 rep a day.
