To remain injury free (again). Had one injury but not through training.

Ultimately; to train for what I want and not to live up to somebody else's expectation.

I don't care about squats. You can stick them in the compost heap.

squat feels real good right now, i think there's room for improvement there for sure.
deadlift is getting back to normal after a disastrous 12 week program from a well known on-line coach who shall remain nameless. can kick on a little there too but mainly in squat and bench.


Who was the coach?

I can never get my head round squatting more than a deadlift, very good numbers though!!

It's common in equipped lifting because most get around 10-20kg of a deadlift suit if that and can get upto 80kg out of wraps and a suit in the squat

However my raw squat tends to be higher than my deadlift because I'm quite short for a 120

Depends on your build - I'm your archetypal short femured, long backed squat build. Wouldn't be surprised if my knee wraps squat has overtaken my deadlift if i did a comp now - it was only 1kg behind last one.
