Yes, the 140 bet is a good deal for me.
It looked like it was a deadlift bar that was used at UK's? Certainly had good bend in it when you doing the block pulls. The tyre setups tend to always to be pretty bendy.

texas power bar, bend cos it was heavy!

Tyre set up at Northerns was on an axle with zero bend this year.

I wouldnt advise relying on a bendy bar as your strategy for success.

Pound for pound strength doesnt get any extra points, is just what you lift.

I got WIlliam Hill on appeal to remove him from my multipliers so I still won all of the bets with him in Happy

We all did

Having to appeal was a joke though and as one of the first guys to successfully make them change their policy I know how much they didnt want to pay out

Are you using an independent third party to look after the monies on these bets Paul or are you going to chase the other person down for the money yourself when you log 140kg...?

If an impartial party is able to handle the wager that ensures a payout is achieved

Just idea... I know you have lots of experience gambling

150kg log at ANY BW. You nail it, you owe me nothing. You don't and you owe me £100.
I'm willing to lower it to 140kg though to give you a chance if you want in?

I'll also go with that Happy

Were you the other person that was in on the bet? To be honest i cant remember who it was but there were a couple people that seemed to think they were in on the bet but actually werent as they had not understood it right. Was only two that had. If you claim to be i will have to check back through the log before we can confirm the new bet.

I don't actually get anything for logging 140 and i know i'll pay so is no need. Because the original bet for £50 was for logging 130 at u100 and am not trying for it now they have offered to do essentially another £50 bet for 140kg at any bodyweight. I will already owe them £50 for not doing the original bet so if i get 140 we will be even, but if i don't i owe twice as much.
