Happy to have not lost too much strength there over the past year. The front squats are PBs by default. This is only the first time pushing the FS for over 3 years, so it's essentially untrained. Finally able to hold it with a good clean grip; it's getting more comfortable to hold, but still difficult. All the benching was tricky because my triceps are still so sore from Weds, I can barely straighten my arms. | ||

I think it's mostly just getting used to holding the bar in this position, as my legs are strong enough to squat more. Bench is pissing me off. | ||

Everything felt 20kg heavier. Squat: warmup 145x3x2 Bench: warmup 80x5x2 CGBP: 70x10 Lying Triceps Extension: 30x12x3 Cable Crossover: 17.5x12 20x12 Barbell Curls: 30x12x3 Inclined DB Press: 22.5x10x3 Could be that I'm still not recovered from maxing everything last week, but today was horrible. Rightly or wrongly (unhealthily), probably going to rely on ibuprofen/paracetamol over the next month or two. | ||

Went out of line on the first rep of 130, then messed me up for the 2nd rep. SLDL did not feel good at all. I've got some lower back/hip pain at the moment, more than ibuprofen is able to help. Wanted to get at least 5 reps of 140 and I thought this was a low starting weight, but it was difficult even for 3. The 10 reps of 110kg may have been a mistake, but I wanted to at least get some stimulation there. Trying something new for OHP. These were all very easy, apart from the 60kg at the end. | ||
