great show from felix ...felt a bit for the young romanian lad but he should have got himself a squat suit ...or just been better at squatting ...it was a great chance for him to qualify

didn't think much of today's events; the first tyre/bird pull event was a bit strange and the squat contraption was awful.

Plus, there was no deadlift. EVERY strongman comp needs a deadlift event.

I also don't see the relevance of the HR monitor, take anyone and put them at their limits and it will rise, so what...

Enjoyed tonight's show greatly. Its crazy how Thor the Icelander went from 115 kg @ 19 year old to 190 kg @ 22 year old though !

we had to do, a grip test, sit and reach, vertica. jump, agility test running in and out of cones had a reaction test and had bf% tested

also, brian had the best flexibility out of everyone

that dumbell medley was very reminiscent of another great comp I know about! trend setting!

all in all I thought it was a great show. liked felix's little background film at adlington. I hope they do some more of those. events were all solid with none of the old keg squat/deadlift kit that was becoming so boring.

didnt like the heart monitor thing or the stats but I think its good theyre trying some new things. maybe that kind of stuff would be interesting to the layman. great start!
