i've just made someones day ! Member 2868, 527 posts SQ 300, BP 244, DL 280824.0 kgs @ 160kgs UnEq | Really enjoyed Big Z's performance on the 155kg Log, in that event he showed he was in a league of his own. He finished with 10reps but wouldve been good for a couple more if the whistle didnt go!

jerking is obviously great, Member 2521, 4720 posts SQ 235, BP 160, DL 290685.0 kgs @ 111kgs UnEq | Enjoyed the final tonight, but I was a little disappointed that they didn't give it a longer TV slot, I would have liked to have seen every athlete do every event, rather than just the highlights. Also I remember it said on Twitter when the final took place, that it was a 160 kg log, and a 442.5 kg winning deadlift or is that just an error due to converting lb's to kg's ?

Log was 155kg, I weighed them myself. Deadlift 343kg starter, Z won with 443kg.

Not in Loz's top 10 uk strongmen Member 144, 4421 posts SQ 320, BP 165, DL 350835.0 kgs @ 123kgs Eq | It was a 35mm 14ft bar, I pulled it in the yard without the block from 15" and if anything it felt harder than on a convo bar.

Maybe that's a good thing? Maybe not? Discuss... I enjoyed the event, but from a viewer's point of view I thought the frame carry and the yoke were too similar (I know they're not!!) Also thought having the hand-ripping event first was a bit silly, and the truck pull was too hard to be a proper spectacle. As I say, enjoyed it, just my constructive criticism.
