Knee is feeling better today, still scary as f**k going up and down stairs. The thought of attempting any sort of squat scares me to death, confidence in the knee and whether it will go again is a bit of an issue but i'm sure it will be okey dokey!! Grin

I'm sure you'll feel a little happier by Wednesday. Wraps for everything for a week or two?

Now to important matters. Have you hung a rope from the ceiling to lower yourself onto the john, or are you just dropping in freefall?

I'm sure it will be fine, it's just not cleared up as quickly as i was hoping. There is definitely some recovery needed as the knee feels very fluidy and not particularly stable.

Luckily it hasn't hampered my lowering my carcass on to the lavvy, stairs are nice, but the lavvy if fine Grin

Knee feels to have improved today as time has gone on. Did a few partial squats to feel it out and although dodgy it has definitely improved. Even got caught on the landing by the eldect replicating the viking press movement from Joni's comp today, turned round and he was looking at me with the "what the f**k are you doing?" look on his face GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Wigan old boy, I don't blame you for milking this for all it is worth, but it is Wednesday tomorrow and you need to start back, just because only the one leg bends doesn't mean you can't do anything. You have already missed a rather splendid set of squats yesterday. We don't want to get to the - "do you remember that Jeff bloke who used to train here, handsome, had a limp" that we have penciled in for next week

It means i can't do anything worthwhile and not slightly gay!! What will i do? Lie down and push weights away from myself???

Not a happy Manfred at the minute, I may or may not be making an appearance on Wednesday, not sure yet!?!?

Wednesday 27/08/08

Went to Adders but with no intention of doing anything as the knee is still poo. Did a few press behind neck and that was it. Heart wasn't in it, surprised i managed what i did Grin

Little bit of bollox talking, saw some nice benchy pressy goings on by some hunky bear type gentlemen in varying states of undress and moistness and went home...
