Another 45 minute session this morning at 0745.

Core and abdominal work. Felt good but made me need a poo.

In Strength Tec tonight for overhead. Month 4 of 5/3/1 starts today.
Only one change to exercises, swapping deadlifts for 18" deadlifts. I'll still do deadlifts but not 5/3/1 just reps probably around the 160-200 mark. I don't feel I am getting anywhere with 1RM from the floor so I might as well concentrate on some proper reps.

Trained at Strength Tec tonight. Start of fourth month of 5/3/1 ish routine.

Axle Push Press from rack

35x6
35x6
65x5
75x5
80x10
90x3
100x2
105x1 (failed 2nd)

Now bear in mind previous PB overhead is 105kg log.....

110 x 3 !!!

120x1 !!!

Big thanks to Rob Frampton and Ollie for the advice, encouragement and spotting. This is a massive PB for me and I am so pleased with it.
Not even particularly knackered by it, the 120 was a little bit of a grind but nothing major.
Did a few kettlebell swings to finish.
Mint night.

Thanks Gray, Jay, Baldy,

Drew.... f**k keep failing the 105 mate, I skipped straight past it!

Ben/Rodger, something in the water I think . I really don't know. I know that having one of the UKs strongest men and a WSM competitor giving you advice (and a slap) beforehand works wonders!Wink

Setup, don't look at the weight (didn't know it was 120 till after) don't think bout anything else. Drive thru heals. Head thru.
And a massive stinging slap on the back of the neck for anger.
