Have you got a video of you doing them...?
I'd like to see you doing them... Just out of curiosity are they full single legged squats or partial?

Don't have video sorry, am not really good enough at them to video. They arnt full ass to heals as i have very tight hamstrings and just can't do that without my other foot hitting the ground. They are pretty deep though as glute soreness would suggest. I have done 35 full range one leg standing on a bench in the past but i was around 100lb lighter back then.

Ok so having/had some issues with estrogen, didnt expect it but been sorting it last few days/should be fine from now on but definately will not be seeing as good results as i have in the past now. Nothing more i can do about this so moving on.

Seated dumbbell press
- to 38kg's x 20 PB
- 31kg's x 30 PB (last 10 reps paused)

Close grip spotto press paused
- to 102kg x 10

Side laterals
- 18kg's x 10

My previous best 20 reps was 30kg's so big pb. I think that 60kg dumbbell push presses, which i was planning to train upto would be too easy. I think maybe i can do 50kg dumbbell's seated if next 13 days goes well, certainly 45's so i think i should train those instead. I had to do this workout in garage and didnt have enough time tol do everything i wanted as got somewhere i need to be now. Had to be up early yesterday so today was first day i could sleep in. Will do back and legs at gym tomorrow.

What's up with the lady hormones Paul? What happened and how do you know it's Egen?

I have not had it tested but it seems obvious that my body converts too much testosterone into estrogen so my estrogen levels have probably always been high. When my test levels go up so does estrogen so i start getting gyno and no levels of anything work without completely killing any gains, apart from one particular thing (this takes the issue away completely). Obviously i can't get into any specifics.

Probably right mate.
Just thought with the openness you discuss here it wouldn't be an issue. (Forum rules though I guess) Happy

I think the rules are that you cant mention any specifics. I want to try be as honest as i can without breaking the rules as i will only get asked whats going on with all the weight / strength gains anyway. I will say that i now take 'supplements' because i have trained for a long time without doing so and probably because my estrogen has been naturally high, it has been seemingly impossible to get any serious amount of muscle on my frame. It seemed every time i got up to 17 stone plus id put on more and more fat no matter how i trained or how clean i ate. That may seem like a fair amount of weight but with my frame size its really not very muscular. I dont see myself as being all that muscular even now.

I like being athletic and there is issues with being big, like legs rubbing together all the time which does my nut in something chronic but i have been fascinated with strength and size since i was a little kid. I was a big wrestling fan growing up till i was finishing high school pretty much from birth and favourite wrestler was ultimate warrior, my dad used to gorilla press slam me and my brother and i have a massive love of gorillas, again since being a little kid. I was pretty much always going to end up being big and strong so is a very natural thing to progress into.

New goal for end of year is to be seated pressing 60kg dumbbells. Obviously won't be doing anything like the 40 reps ed hall did but hopefully i can do some.

Loads of PB's Paul. Impressed how you keep making so many of them so quickly! Cool

My weight was actually only 130kg at the start, probably due to the heat which obviously is still the case if not worse but 3.5kg up is still low, i expected to be 135kg by now bit we'll see what happens the rest of the way. Strength is certainly feeling good, all those stacks are heavy, never been able to do some of them before. Squat rack was in use again but free smith is pretty much the same thing (just a bit smoother) and was happy with the results. Will do some ab and hamstring training tomorrow.

Yeah the chest supported rows and good mornings ive not done a lot of but some of those ive done a s**t load of times like the hammer high row for example i used to do all the time as that particular one goes in very narrow at the top so its good stretch for my tight lats. Previous best was 180kg x 6 with worse form.

How do you keep track of PB's on so many different movements?

I keep a note of 1-10 rep PB's on main movements (squat/bench/dead/their variations) but beyond that it would be a momentous task.
