Looked at the 57kg classic results when I got in. I wouldn't to do bad and I'll be good to put up a hell of a fight next year.

Really good front squat work. Plenty of power in those quads. Your strength keeps on rising. You'll be really strong by next year.

The leg power is there, it's just my upper bag lagging behind by miles and my core could use a bit of hard work.

Not taking the piss but have you ever considered keg carry for upper back? Upper back is my worst point I think. Keg carries helped a lot in the short time I got to do them.

My upper back is pretty bad though. It's in such a state that I might not be able to hold the keg in the first place.

Bench Warm Up:
5 @40kg
5 @60kg
3 @70kg
2 @80kg
2 @85kg, failed 90kg, but at least it was a controlled fail.

Equipped Bench:
1 @95kg, paused
1 @100kg, paused
1 @102.5kg, paused
1 @102.5kg, paused, failed 105kg, couldn't budge it off the chest. The shirt felt weird around the triceps.
2 @100kg

Bench Press:
3 x 10 @70kg
1 x 8 @70kg

Deadlift:
1 @120kg
1 @140kg
1 @160kg, 170kg got stuck again.
1x2 @135kg
1x3 @135kg

Chest Supported Rows:
5 x 8 @50kg

Back to bent over rows after the British. They should help my deadlift.

Lots of really hard work there again. Do you feel like you're reaching the upper limit of the cycle just now or do you have more in the tank yet? The bench weight is really strong.

I could maybe get a bit extra on squat and bench press but I'll see on the day. A 165kg deadlift would be good but I know that 160kg is there.

On deadlift yeah.

Worked up to my openers today and a wee discussion of what to do attempts wise.

I'm looking forward to Saturday, still a bit nervous but I think I've picked safe lifts.
