There's my PB right there.
Quality bench Louise. Dat R.O.M. superiority.

See if I could keep that arch while having the shirt belted in place I'd probably be benching other people's totals.

Right now it's down to jacking the shirt vs keeping my set up.

Sunday:

Equipped Deadlift: 60x5, 100x3, 120, 140, 150, 160, 170
Deadlift: 100x3, 120x3, 125x3 130x4x3
OHP: 15x5, 25x12, 29x8, 32x5, 34x3, 25x13
Jerk: 25x5, 35x3, 42x3, 47x3x3, 49x3x3 - bicep felt a bit tweaky and I didn't want to risk popping it
Assistance: renegade rows & planks

Monday:

Squat Warm up: 20x5x2, 60x5, 80x5, 100x3
Equipped Squat: 100x3, 120x3, 140x1, 150x1, 160x1 - new suit and getting no where near parallel, freaking out a bit with the tight suit during walk out so just going to sugar my old suit for the euros.
Squat: 80x5, 90x5, 100x5, 150x5x2
Bench: 20x5, 40x5, 60x3, 70x3, 75x3, 80x3, 70x5x3
Assistance: dumbbell row & overhead lunge

Between lifting I've been rekindling my fondness for rolling around the floor in my pyjammas. It's the best form of conditioning/ active recovery that I've found.

I have shoulder and hip niggles from equipped lifting.

I'm thinking about chucking equipped lifting now. I've given it a couple of years, made some progress, but I still don't think it's right for me. I just don't seem to get the technique or benefit of the suits as much as other girls in my weight cat do.

I'm in the situation where I can hit really good numbers, but then equipped comes along and f**ks that all up. If I'm focussing on raw lifting all year round I stand a much better chance.

The only thing equipped does seem to help is my deadlift, I get a few weeks of being able to hit decent raw numbers after coming out the suit.

Wednesday:

Halting Deadlift: 60x5, 80x5, 90x5, 95x5x5
Snatch: 15x8, 25x3x2, 35x3x3, 37x3x5 - keeping things light so I can work on hitting full extension
Paused Frontsquat: 35x5, 60x5, 70x5x5
Assistance: inverted row, push up, pull ups, hanging leg raises.

Thursday:

Paused Squat: 20x5, 60x3, 80x3, 95x3, 100x3, 105x3x3
Squat: 102.5x5x5 - actually feeling like I can start ramping the weight up again... just in time for the worlds.
Bench Warm up: 20x5, 40x4, 60x3, 70x1
Equipped Bench: 85x2, 95x2, 105x1, 110x1, 115x1 - made of not touching and bad lines
Paused Bench: 65x5x5
Pull-ups: 5,4,3,3,3

Saturday:

Squat: 20x5x2, 60x5, 80x3, 100x1, 120x1, 140x1, 150x1, 160x1

Bench: 20x5x2, 40x5, 60x3, 70x1, 80x1, 90x1, 95x1x2
Bent over Row: 40x5x3, 50x5, 40x5

Stuck on the old suits so I can get openers. A little bit of extra weight has gone a long way, 160kg was super fast and that was with "Louise" wraps, so may need to adjust for proper knee wraps next week. Bench is a bit unstable and hard to get down, but it will pass.

Wednesday (European equipped):
Squat: 160, 170, 175 - New GBPF and common wealth record
Bench: 92.5, 97.5, 102.5
Deadlift: 157.5, 167.5, 170 - played it safe to secure 4th, don't think I could have pushed to 3rd and a new GBPF total record was a bit risky.

Friday:
Paused Squat: 20x8x2, 60x5, 80x3, 95x3x3
Squat: 95x5x5
Comp Bench: 20x5, 40x5, 60x3, 70x1, 75x1, 80x1
Long Paused Bench: 60x5, 62.5x5x4
Bent over row: 25x10, 35x10, 45x10x3

Looking alright for the classic next month. Probably fat as f**k though.

Thanks, I have a love hate relationship with equipment. When it works I love it when it doesn't I feel like ditching it.

Also just dropping off my new bench record with 90kg in the 57kg class.

It takes the Scottish men's record at 59kg but people are grumping and not letting me have it for a laugh.

Because then men can take the women's records, with their superior natural testosterone. Lets face it, the sexes are totes equal on strength grounds and there's nothing funny about letting a girl have the record till the guys get their arse in gear.

Double body weight is the next milestone.

That's funny as hell. I bet you breaking the record put some men's noses out of joint. You should start a thread to see what Sugden thinks?Tongue Tongue
I'm crap at benching, but to be honest it's not important to me so I don't really train it hard, but I would be the first to congratulate you if you out benched me.
Fighting is another matter Wink

Half the thread would b**ch about ROM the other half would b**ch about lack of boobs.

And I don't fight, I just like pyjama wrestling. I gave MMA a shot and just didn't get into it, I had little to no interest in the whole striking thing.
