Bench press:
5X10 @60kg

Deficit Deadlift (two plates):
1X5 @70kg
1X5 @75kg
3X5 @80kg
1X5 @82.5kg
1X5 @85kg

Chest supported rows:
1X5 @40kg
1X3 @50kg
5x5 @45kg

I am doing deficit deadlifts to fix my deadlift start. I'm scared because it means I won't be deadlifting heavy for a while. I've been told that when I go back to a normal start I'll feel stronger. Right now I just feel scared that I'll get weaker, a lot like when I started doing low bar squats.

You're not going to lose anything, you were working 4" platform for sets of 8 with nearly 60% (a) you are doing more reps, (b) you are working more range of motion, (c) you are working and addressing that weakness at last!

Like the rest of your training, trust me with this!

Just like when I started low bar squats, it worked out in the long run.

Squat:
1X10 @20kg
1X5 @50kg
1X5 @80kg

Squat (Suit Bottoms):
1X5 @80kg
1X5 @100kg
5X5 @110kg

Feet Up Bench Press:
1X5 @50kg
3X5 @52.5kg

Chest Supported Rows:
1X5 @45kg
4X5 @47.5kg

Suit went on okay and I could manage it by myself, needed help gettin it off but it should loosen off a little over the next few weeks. The legs and hips are supper tight but because of my weird build the straps are pretty loose, but that will mean I've got a bit more room for mobility. Hit depth first time in the new suit and I was expecting tonight to be all misery, pain and suffering. It was just pain and suffering.

Got kicked out the gym at 8pm sharp. First the new management moved my trophy cabinet and now this? Do they not know who am ur?

Between now and the British I need to prioritise powerlifting related lifts, so if I don't have time for something oly, cut it and focus on my better sport.

Ken who am urr eh?
I hear there are good tailors around who can adjust suits for a pimping fit. They do it in Korea all the time. Paisley has a good seamstress. Or are you gonna go the true powerlifting route and fill out into the suit? If so, looking forward to drawing you with 6 circles.

Great squats tonight btw. 5x5@110 is pretty scary stuff.

Scarrier when you realise I hit 5x5@107.5kg before the last comp.

Nice volume - I doubt I could squat that even though i'm almost 30kg heavier than you!

The trick to volume is just to ignore any lactic acid pain. Pain does not exist in this dojo.

Power Snatch:
1X3 @40kg
1X3 @41kg
2X3 @43kg
1X2 @43kg

Shoulder Press:
2X2 @40kg
4X5 @40kg
1X3 @42.5kg

Clean & Jerk:
2 @45kg
1 @50kg
1 @55kg

Front Squat:
3X5 @80kg

Pull-up:
1X4
2X3
2X1

I could benefit from jerking from the blocks again, but I don't have time right now. It's cool, I can leave learning to oly lift until November.

Shirted Bench Work:
5 @80kg
1 @90kg
2X3 @80kg
3 @85kg
2X3 @100kg (touched these but had assistance on the way back up.)

Bench Press:
3X10 @62.5kg
8 @62.5kg
7 @62.5kg

Deficit Deadlift:
8 @87.5kg
5X8 @90kg

Chest Supported rows:
5X5 @47.5kg

I hate the shirt, it feels horrible and it's difficult to believe people my size can get 20kg+ out of it. Patience though, it only feels so bad because the shirt isn't broken in and I'm not used to lifting in one.

A bigger deficit this week on deadlifts, my feet only just fit under the bar. They're still feeling ok though, I'm finding that my hips and glutes are kicking in sooner so I'm not relying on my back so much for the lock out.

Made Danny feel uncomfortable, and tried to trick Zack into playing rumplestiltskin. (If you can guess my nickname I won't eat your first born.)

I think deficits are doing good work.
Hardcore benching btw.
Also, already said but 15x8 foot storage containers with steel floors are 23 quid a week.
ould build a bench out of free argos catalogues and squat racks out of fence posts stuck in plant pots.

Nah, set the argos catalogues on fire so we can have some sort of heating.
