I favour strict press training because struggling with leg drive (especially on the log) frustrates me!

I have to train strict press fairly often as my knees get so sore sometimes! I can't push press every week. In the last 2 and a bit years I have added 27.5kg to my strict press and 22.5kg to my push press so not totally disimilar progress

very similair gains to me ,as in, my improvements in PP have increased with my strict increases . Have you tried knee wraps instead of knee supports for pushpress, as i suffer with my knees on PP and that seems to solve it

if u can strict press X amount then ur brain is gonna make u more confident at lifting that same weight with added legs whether it be u are good at using them or not.......

Do think strict log work is beneficial. if everything goes to s**t on the lift u can always mong it up lol
