Mr Wayne, you must face up to the fact that I've out minimised you this week. Happy
I worked Monday & Wednesday night and fancied a week off training. There's been a lot going on in the world of the Fanny lately. Back to it tomorrow though, but then back in the north east as of Tuesday for a couple of weeks, so training will be a bit sporadic until I return.
I have spent some of this evening conceiving a new plan. Hopefully it'll be a nice plan.

Yep, you've done less than me this week, 27 reps less to be precise. I must try harder to do less!

Super! I may outline it later, but I was a bit tipsy when I planned it.
I'm in the cafe now fuelling up on omelette chips & beans before a lazy session later. I plan to Zercher for the first time. Happy

If you don't like them initially don't give up on them! I wasn't keen when I first tried, but now I'm an addict!

I'm training with Mr Al on Tuesday. I'm planning to introduce him to the art of zerchering.

I'm going to nip out to my cold garage for some lazy dumbbell work in a moment....

Fanny as promised had a nice lazy little day today, but I enjoyed and that is my main desired outcome from this whole thing, so mission accomplished. Happy

Interesting... Didn't want to go particularly heavy, as it was my first time trying them and they were quite awkward and if I'm honest quite difficult even at this gay little weight. I shall persist. Happy

Fat handled plate loadable DB press:
22.5kg 3xR 3xL
32.5kg 2xR 2xL
37.5kg 1xR 1xL
40kg 1xR 1xL

Secret grip work x some. Cool

Right... Fanny's next little training plan for when I get back from the glorious north east after my little holidays is thus;

Monday:
Push Press from belt clean
Stiff leg deadlift
Front Squat

Wednesday:
Squat
Strict press
Power Clean

Thursday:
Some kettlebell, sandbag, barrel if I get round to filling it and medicine ball s**t (if I can be arsed), we'll see about this though, as it may be over ambitious.

Saturday:
Deadlift
Beaker Squat
DB Press

Also want to fit in pull-ups and other body weight stuff time and energy dependent, but that's pretty much it.

Competition wise, I really can't see me doing any strongman next year, as I can't afford to get anywhere to train with the kit regularly. Hopefully that lovely Mr Clegg will put another push & pull on and there'll be another BGB at Gym 1. I'll keep my little eyes open for anything else suitable too.

Cheers Mr Sam and Mr V! I haven't commented on your journals today yet, but it's funny how it goes sometimes isn't it? A massive PB for Mr Sam and an unheard of fail for Mr V. Confused
PS. no one should ever copy the plans of Fanny unless you plan on making yourself as weak as possible in record time. Roll-Eyes

Yes! Happy Plus another thing.
I will definitely persevere with the Beaker squats and on the bright side anything over that gay 60kg will be a PB! Happy Such is the joy of adding a new exercise.

nice to see a plan Fanny , if you're going to deadlift saturday and then stiff leg on monday
I'd make the stiffies light and for reps to avoid overtaxing of the lower back.

That has already been taken into account thanks Mr Ed. It'll be a light high rep thing. Almost everything else won't be though.
