My first strongman session at Gym 1 Luton today. Yoke - Can't remember all the weights, but can remember it being f**king hard! Went up to 200kg for 15m x 2 I believe. First attempt at it involved a drop about every 1m. Farmers - Again, no f**king idea, other than going up to 100kg for 15m x2 Barrel - I think I got the 65kg to somewhere near shoulder height, then just f**ked about trying to get the other ones off the ground, like a spazzy cack handed gay. Barbell clean and push press - Some singles for 60, 1 single for 70. Log - 1 unloaded (70kg I think) + 1 fail. Fat handled dumbbell press. Think it was 35kg and I got a few x2. This is all very vague and uninspiring isn't it? I'll write it down while I'm there next time. Anyway, much thanks to Ed and James for all the encouragement. It was a most magnanimous day.  | ||

I do have back pain, but if I'm honest I think it has more to do with t**tting around with that painful yoke thing earlier today. Fancy being particularly strong and being able to perform surgery though. I think I'd be quite pleased with myself if I were you. (I hope that doesn't read as being sarcastic, I'm genuinely impressed). | ||
