Anyway... Still not really eating properly, drinking Tennants Super too often and not sleeping enough. I'm going to have to make an effort to sort this out soon.

Sort of warmed up properly I think and did some body weight squats & lunges (after reading advice in Mr Al's journal), then..

Squat:

120kg x2 Rep PB! Embarassed
125kg x1 sort of sitting down good morning type thing. I videoed it for people's amusement. It is f**king horrible. Would it count in the BGB though??? I'll edit this to say 'PB!' if so.
70kg x3 x3 sets.

Strict press:
Bar x10
Bar x10
40kg x3
50kg x1
60kg x1
70kg x1
65kg x2
65kg x1
Roll-Eyes

I then tried some reverse lunges with an empty barbell for a few sets and then some body weight only alternate forward lunges.

That was it and here's the video. It isn't pleasant viewing.

but i think a bit of squat coaching is essential, thats a big forward lean u got happening there mate.

Edit - good lift by the way! seem to be getting good depth.

hard to be completely sure of depth from behind but that looked to be plenty deep enough , didnt look too hard either , more there!

hehe! Thankfully they don't all look like that. I'm sure I'd benefit from everything coaching, but it's not that practical when I train in my own bedroom. I'll hopefully pick lots up at the BGB though. Happy

Cheers Mr Ed! I did think it was going to fail for a moment, which is what made me good morning it even more. Certainly didn't feel like there was any more there, but I dare not test that out and have to dump the bar.

Travis, I always keep up with your log but rarely post in it. I do have to tell you though, the "fackin hell" bit of that vid had me properly laughing out loud. Sterling work all round, sir. That has made my evening.
