Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22063 posts	As the General Bulls**t section is once again becoming a powerlifting kit buying/selling zone I thought I'd start a thread that isn't about someone wanting a bench shirt. Has anyone else noticed that shops etc often treat customers like scum these days? In my home town I tend to avoid the shops with rude staff and spend my money in the friendlier shops. The garage that did some work on my car today won't be seeing me again.... purely because of their attitude. I don't get it, especially in this economic climate Don't people want to keep their customers??

Th problem is with doormen in general is that a lot of them think holding an SIA badge gives them the right to act a ct! Even worse are 18year old jacket fillers that stand around chatting up sluts all night then go and st themselves in the corner when it kicks off. If I end up working with either of those types I'll have a quiet word with them, if that doesn't work I'll have a word with the head doorman or manager. This isn't snitching, it's an issue of safety at work. You want someone who will watch your back. And you certainly don't want an egotistical wa**er working alongside you that's for sure.

Nothing worse than working with someone who you know wont have your back if things kick off. Have situations where I could do with some help, seen one of the guys arrive, take a look and dissapear. The SIA licence is the worst thing ever to happen to security work. Once my current one expires I am giving it up.
