It begs the question

why not just do it for a weight you can do for 5 with our hitching or stopping?

I'm strong enough to do all the reps just want clean ones, going to light won't have any carryover to heavier pulls.

What?

If you can't do them clean and in a row then you aren't strong enough.

Are you basing this programme on your best deadlift or your best unhitched deadlift?

It's based from a 210 max, 10kg below my best. I can do all the reps in one to but just now for the sake of not encouraging the hitch when I feel like I am going to I just stop reset and go again. Clean only! 220 was a hitched max, 210 was a small hitch but still there. Don't want to just develop the hitch and not my actual pull. Ali said its a prog he's used over and over so far so good!

So you based it off a hitched dead so your going to hitch all the reps

Ali doesn't hitch so the programme works fine for him

you should have used 200 or whatever you pull clean

Not to sound like a broken record but only use maxes that were done with good form for programmes otherwise it's going to get ugly or fail horribly.

Good looking lifts + volume = gainz

Ill lower a bit for the next one and make the next cycle a bit lighter too. Clean is the only way! Need dem sweet gainz fo sho

Not ignited pal, he said gainz, the z is all it takes for the penny to drop haha! No chance of sat training I'm afraid - selling all of Edinburgh golf clubs tomorrow and meby some clothes too. What time does the gym open at thru the week?

Front squat 40*5,3,2 60*3,3,3 70*2,1 80*2 90*2 tried to unrack 100 but wouldn't sit right, got the hump and sacked them off!
Deadlift 60,100,140*2,1 155*1 175*1 190*3 clean,3 (2+1) 140*10

Took way to long in between sets then chatted to Ali and dave for a bit. I hate fronties but need something more productive than speed squats don't feel like they are adding anything just now
