First of all Ben for organizing, and running, a f**king brilliant (and f**king brutal) comp! Probably the best comp I've ever been involved in. You did a great job on the mic too.Thanks to tony and jt for solid reffing (as always). Cheers to Olly, Niall, Smalls, Ste and all the other loaders (sorry if I've forgot you - Chris, Pagan?). Big thanks to Will and his dad for their scorekeeping efforts. I feel it was a BIG bonus for the comp, makes life so much easier for all the crowd/spectators and this is the sort of thing that is moving our sport forward. As always a big pat on the back to BoarVision who always does an excellent job and is a top guy to boot! Hope I've not missed anybody out! I'll comment on individual performances in people's training logs. I'll do a write up tomorrow in my log but just want to say that I'm very pleased with 3rd place. It was a very tough comp with a very strong field, so I'm going to go to bed a happy, and totally f**ked, old, fat man. | ||

(please forgive my attempt at '2 cam' editing !!) | ||

Member 707, 1517 posts | just wanted to say thanks to whoever thought i was worthy of outstanding performance, i personally had Sam for his progress and training for the comp, Joe for being a beast and even though i knew he was i was amazed and Hixxy for being very good after only 3-4 months. every lifter seemed to be great and obviously the best man won (f**ked me trying to keep up on yoke  bad idea), to many other names to mention, i would also like to thank my mate shane for shouting at me during events and telling me what to do Ben you are a legend and as always it was brilliant to see Boar,Kev,Pagan,Lee,Smalls,Chris,Ste,Ollie,Ryan,(enter name here) if i missed you  | ||

A Big well done to eveybody but not least all the fella's I train with. Too many great performances to single any out. I'm gutted JC didn't quite nail a qualifying spot especially after the awesome displays he's produced in training leading up to this one. Your day will come again mate! | ||

Just like to say that it was nice to meet a great deal of you all. Your all a good bunch of lads n with my first comp you made me feel like i belonged there. Cant wait to the final now, very flattered n shell-shocked i made it.
