yes I am that guy that watches world strongest man and all of a sudden does strong man s**t in a commercial gym but in my defence

a, the place you wedge the dumbell just on your shoulder/into your neck is almost identical to the place you wedge a shot putt. It is pretty much the most directly relevant exercise unless you wanted to set up some kind of directly opposing force with bands and cables.

b, my right shoulder is f**ked but i need to strengthen the left one for shot putt season.

c, it is my log of nothing specific and if i think something looks cool by harry i shall do it.

I have never really had a problem when benching. Adding overhead really did messed with it though.

It is the same shoulder that i tore in a mosh pit 10 years ago and the same one that stopped me boxing 7 years ago (although the fact that I was utterly s**te at boxing also played a big part in this). Will have to be more careful with the overhead from now on.

An old Moshpit injury flared up this week in my right shoulder. I am taking it easy on the overhead stuff. Everything else seems to be fine. Reckon i need a 3/4 day rest anyhow to be honest.

Happy, i know i have squatted more than this but that was really low bar, wide stance with loads of stretch reflex. This is probably genuinely stronger, with a closer stance and next to no bounce out of the hole. 180s there i recon.
