Thanks guys, Whilst I lay in bed last night and I realised week 21 was finished a warm glow came over me (No I had not pissed myself) Todays 2x15 seems almost like a day off!

I attacked rep 1 from the outset and was rewarded with a UT1 pb.

Messed about doing some OLLY stuff powersnatch up to singles with 51kg this seems to be about the limit of my "good technique". Followed on with some power cleans into power jerk again up to 51kg my rack position leaves a lot to be desired.
Finished off with some kettle bell swings.

I see you're dabbling in the Oly lifts these days. Are you thinking of having a go at that English qualifying total?

Very happy you got through it jt, iron willpower! It's a great bit of motivation as well, no way can I quit any of the sessions now Grin

Thanks guys, I am just messing with the olly stuff at present see what I have left. I built a mezzanine in the shed/gym so have to do it outside on the grass which is not ideal.
Mr BIm, I did miss 2x12UT1 and 60mins of UT2 so don't feel too bad if you skip a rep or 2.
Turd night last night followed by a day up and down ladders feels like I have climbed the equivalent of Everest.

Reps 2 and 3 showed 15.3 on the monitor but were 1.16.8 so rounded up to 15.4. Rep 4 nailed at 1.16.5 so a lovely 15.3. Legs are going to have to get longer or stronger to go any faster.

It's a vanity thing, I have slipped down the rankings and have 2 days to rectify it. Last night and this morning my plan was a 500m but after a tough day and a tweaky back i wimped and did the easier option.

I might have a crack at the 500 tomorrow depending on how I feel after work. Tomorrows session is 8x500 so I guess I could have 8 attempts!

So I managed not to talk myself out of doing a 500, but I did not warm up properly and did not really get going previous pb was 50spm which I think is a bout right for a max 500m

A small pb of 2 tenths, Monitor stopped at 1.25.2 which would of been slightly less disappointing. Gone up from joint 10th to joint 8th in GBR rankings. Had about 40minutes sulking and skulking then went back for some more I should be able to do 4x5001MR @1.39 right? Wrong halfway through rep1 lungs were painful so binned off the rest intervals and took 3-4minutes.

Still a nice pb and 500's, I think after a 500m pb any intervals I did after that would suffer for sure.

Thanks guys. I am resigned to not being strong enough or tall enough to ever really go much faster. I did some snooping on the top 20 in GBR of all ages seems average height is about 6'6'', on fella 6'10'' with a 7'3'' wingspan!!!!!!!!
