Warmed up C+j 20xloads 40x5 60x3 80x2 90x1 100 3xfail (all over the place Pc +j 100x1 100x1 (full clean) 110x1 (power clean) I sacked these off as there was a guy doing farmers walks with the trap bar so I did some 136x30 (drop turn at 15m) 186x30 236x30 286x30 (killer on the hands, there were some cheerleaders watching this set from their dance studio so I had some extra motivation I even got a little round of applause Shoulder press 60x5 80x3 100x3 (1 strict, 2push We added chains on here so there was about 115 at the bottom and 125 at the top, although the guy I was doing them with reckoned the chains weighed more than what's written on them but I doubt it Strict press x1 (just! Small push press x1 Done. Quite happy with how the trap bar felt, 286 didn't feel too heavy. | ||

Mega happy as 2 weeks ago I failed the third rep on 285. 3 rep PB) Strict press 40x10 40x5 60x5 60x3 70x2 80x2 90x1 (flew up I swathed on after this) 100x1 110x1 115x1 122xfail (not today but it will go soon) Btn jerk 60x3 80x1 100x1 120x1 130x1 (pressed out) 135x1 (s**t rep, had to press it out loads) One arm dumbbell strict 30x5 l+r 35x5 l+r 40x5 l+r 45x5 l+r Left arm was at it's limit so didn't go heavier Lateral raises 12.5's 4x15 Done, 295x2 next week I can't wait to go 300+ | ||

Snatch balance 20 2x5 Snatch 20 afew x3 30x3 35x3 40x3 45x3 + a fail 50x2 55x2 (quite nice these 2 reps) 60x2 (got abit messy here) Clean and jerk 40xafew 60x3 70x3 80x2 90x2 100x3 105x3 110x1 fail 2nd 120x1 (pretty good, power jerk was easy) 130xfail (didn't get my right elbow up as I caught it and f**ked my wrist abit but it's fine now) Done, snatches were way better however cleans need work. | ||

Member 3986, 10449 posts SQ 340, BP 200, DL 400940.0 kgs @ 129kgs Eq | 25.4.13 Session 2 Warmed up with running Log c+p 65x3 , x5, x3 85x3 (one motion, strict, push) 105x3 (2 one motions, 1 strict) 125x1 (one motion) 130x1 (push press) 140x1 (5kg PB could have done with more legs but triceps felt strong, getting closer to mediocre for an open instead of completely s**t) 110x10 (1 one motion, 9 clean and push press, these were way easier than 105 for 10 last time. I should be good for 10+ at the naturals qualifier with 120) Done. Quite alot of talking instead of training but I'm really happy with the log. | ||
