The 200's were definitely a grind mate, but felt confident of the triple from the 1st rep. Think 5-6 would be there fresh.

The lockout has always been my weakness Nickolai, its improves of late as ive been concentrating on getting the hips through rather than tweaking the biceps up to lock it out. Been doing a bit of upper back work too.

05/07 Bench

Decided 10 add 10kg on for the working weight, wish i hadn't!

Bar x 10
40 x 10
80 x 6
100 x 5

130 x 2
130 x 2
130 x 2
130 x 2
130 x 2
130 x 2
130 x 2
130 x 2

These felt heavy today apart from one or 2 decent sets, set up was very poor struggled to get into a decent position and my line changed on every set, all felt very unnatural!!

CGBP
100 X 8
120 X 6 PB i think
130 x 2 spotter tap 3rd, almost certainly a PB

Tough day, extremely hot in the gym and the CGBP was even better than the real thing

06/07/12 Squatters

In the recent theme of not fannying around, i decided to up the squat working weight by 40kg, time will tell wether this was a mistake or not.

60 x 6
100 x 6
120 x 4
160 x 2

180 x 2
180 x 2
180 x 2
180 x 2
180 x 2
180 x 2
180 x 2
180 x 2

Now dear readers this was clearly a mistake!! Felt very heavy, but easy on the legs at the same time, which is more than confusing. Was also sweating like a fat lass in a cake shop, very difficult but perseverance is the name of the game.

Finished up with a little bit of OH

60 X 6 Strict
100 x 2 PP
100 X 3 PP PB Did 2 missed the 1st attempt at the 3rd and hit it on the 4th

Your not wrong mate, realised i was coasting with 140kg, telling my self that 150 or 160 would be enough rather than doing what i should be.
