Teabagger for hire
Member 54, 237 posts
As a relatively stumpy lifter I sometimes struggle passing a bench bar to the long-armed Bryn Evans. As a result of this I sometimes end up applying my sack to his forehead at the beginning of the lift. ALthough he denies it, I have noticed that he always performs best after this has occurred. Nowadays it is often enough for me to simply shout at him prior to a lift "Don't make me put the sack on you". We sometimes refer to this practice as Teabagging - although it does not go the whole hog.

Now - WHo's for a centre pass?

if squating i grasp the bar with my left hand then rigth let go and then grip the opposite way right then left.

deadlift- i get my feet into possition and then get the grip while i speak to myself in my head and think about fighting.

bench- i just seam to get into possition grasp the bar and then bench.

but i'f i'm going for max's i think about fighting and liten to a song called the gael. holly s**t it gets me well pissed off

i must admitt some times i find it very hard to get pissed off or in the zone when weight training when i don't have my song to accompany my fighting thoughts.

does anybody else have this bother

I'm usually very quiet and keep it all inside. I can't stand all that going crazy s**t, matter of fact, I had to stop training with one dude that was always on a hype, he was so aggressive with it, he was turning the training sessions into a boot camp.

Lol, I can imagine that would get very annoying. I was probably quite annoying to train with but I only really got angey for the real big lifts, deadlift pbs, squat pbs etc. Wasnt very often at all. If you're not careful I think you can get emotionally drained otherwise.
