back training today although things are still far from rosy. i haven't had any physio yet, and I definitely need some. nothing that is wrong is going to get better on its own.

I trained in pain, but nothing too bad; My left hip is sore as always and the back is still a problem. I am going to try some daily stretching for the hip which might make a difference, we'll seel.

I think it is going to be a case of balancing traing and discomfort and knowing when to stop without aggtravating problems-never an easy task, but we'll see.

Today was:

Spent about 10 mins stretching and working on the hip/groin with a tennis ball last night which was painful but hopefully will bear fruit if i keep it up for a few weeks every day.

This was a good session but my back now feels terrible; It feels like my shoulder blade is trying to detatch from the rest of my backConfused

I think it was the chins that were irritating it rather than the deads. Just popped a couple of pain killers and we'll see how it is tomorrow.

all good and solid. A painkiller or two and bob's your uncle-i need to get to the physio but I just don't have the time at the linute.
On a more positve note, my bench technique seems to be feeling a bit better.

weigh in today: 98.2kg down 0.5

Hope to have time to squat in an hour or so. I want 2 singles with 130 today (130 was my best squat last time i maxed). Feeling confident that it will go no problems

a very short session today-I only had about 30 mins from start to finish (and it takes my old bones a bit of time to warm upGrin )

the singles felt very solid, especially the first one. I'll have to film the next set of singles (135kg in about 10 days or so if all goes according to plan) from the side to check depth, but I'm pretty sure it was fine.

Still some way to go to get the 170kg or so I need for 500, but I'll get there.

Hip was a bit sore (I shortened my warm up because of lack of time).

The 20 rep set was just to get a bit of volume in, "feeding the chickens" as a friend of mine used to say!
