35 in 5 minutes. I think it was a mistake doing these after bench because I couldn't do a press up without my arms shaking.

Sure, why not? Jump for length will be a bit easier for me in terms of either not hitting my head on the roof, breaking a leg or actually having a boxes various heights!

I then started on some burpees but pulled up short after a dozen with a sharp pain in my shouder. These mught be great for conditioning, but they are a bugger on the joints. I think it is dropping into the press up position that is problematic. I'll have a think about it and see if something else will do. Hopefully the shoulder is nothing major.

I sat too high on the bench and when i rocked back to lie down, my head was other the end. This turned it into a 1rm so I stopped and tried again. I the did exactly the same thingUnhappy

And to complete the look good for the summer campaign, I went for a run this morning. Only 20 minutes and I looked like an asthmatic chasing a pickpocket, but it was, if not enjoyable, certainly not complete hell.

A funny week this week. I've felt absolutely knackered for the last couple of days-not sure why. More worryingly, my shoulders are fairly sore. I need to think about how to work around that.

Today I did some light squats, chins and db benches.

tried the standing long jump tonight ,you have nothing to fear I am s**t at it ,i managed a paltry 2.4m ,which i suspect is a slightly elongated stride for you!Happy

2.4 metres sounds like a long way to me-I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Today was:
Squats
Worked up to 112/5

db bench
Worked up 42/2 his is a problem. Getting the f**kers up for the first rep takes such an effort that I can't do any more! The obvious solution is to do them for reps and do bench for heavy stuff, but the shoulders might say otherwise.
