More in the tank on both

Deadlift:

240 x 1
250 x 1

Good form on both but anything over 240 just feels heavy on the back

Hack squat:

+100 x 5,5
+105 x 5

Constant pressure no rest between reps

No rest between reps

Yep Candito, good spot. I really rate that 6 week programme for squat, it’s ok for deadlift but rubbish for bench press

Yes, I completely agree with your assessment of it. The deadlift accessory exercises are probably as important as the deadlift sessions themselves.

Paused high incline DB Press:

44 kg x 10,10,10

4:00 rests quite comfortable

SA shoulder press machine:

+85 kg x 12,12,12 (2:30 rests)

DB skullcrushers:

16 kg x 12/12/12/10 (2:00 rests)

finding it hard to find an effective tricep exercise that doesn't pain the elbows

*straps*

230 x 1
250 x 1
270 x 1

290 x 1 PB !

Working on my technique (straighter back and bit slower off the floor) this year has really paid dividends. That said, this works until 230 ish, then form does breakdown. I’ve also learnt that I don’t need to go super heavy to improve my max. I’ve not gone over the 230/240 range much at all

140 x 3F (narrowly failed the 4th at lockout which really surprised me as wanted 5 reps)
