Surprisingly, it was deadlift that went better, despite an achey back and a dodgy hamstring. Top set was about rpe 7, and the down sets were pish. Squat just doesn't feel right at the moment. I am in two minds about shaking things up to do a bit more volume. (90.4) | |||

Mind you it is only week 1 of the block. Squat was reasonably fluent, as wete deadlifts, though I went a bit gentler on top set to avoid aggravating my hamstring. Job done. (90.4) | |||

Made me feel like I needed to prioritise overhead. Not sure if I will though. (90.5) | |||

Still carrying some fatigue from a week that included a heavy Squat session and a heavy deadlift session and was split by a nasty cold. The top Squat set did not feel fantastic, bur all the down sets and deficit deads felt fairly easy, as they should. (90.5) | |||

Still getting over the cold and for some reason my insides were feeling dodgy. Light squats felt OK. Deadlift I had to dig deep but I got tge reps, though my right hamstring felt like it had a bit of cramp on the top set. I'll have to watch that. (90.5) | |||

Squat did not feel particularly good in warm-up, and the set@160 took absolutely everything. Therefore decided not to even try a fatigued single@175. Back offs were much lighter than I originally intended. Paused deads I was only going for 1 set, which was was hard-ish. (90.5) |
