Forever bulking Grin

I seem to maintain on around 4,000 so I'm going for 4,500. More if I do anything physical in the day (walking, swimming..)

Trained at Genesis on my own. Price went up to £7 a session which it pretty expensive imo. When I asked staff how much the axle weighs and for the keys to the yoke outside they were quite unfriendly and mute. Some idiot parked his car in front of the yoke too which made it v difficult to get out. The collars didn't even fit the farmers either meaning that the plates would come off and tip the whole appartus when walking with them. Unhappy

Strict Press:

40 kg x 5
52.5 kg x 5
65 kg x 5

85 kg x 2 fail 3
80 kg x 3

85 x 2 was dissapointing given that I had 85 x 3 last week (for 2 sets). Really wanted 85 x 4 today. 80 x 3 was comfortable enough though. Wrist wrap went pop during this set distracting me a little.

Axle:

65 kg x 1c 3p
75 kg x 1c 2p
85 kg x 1c 2p Axle Power Clean PB
95 kg x 1c 2p (belt clean now)

102.5 kg x 1c 2p (fail 3 but very close) PB
102.5 kg x 1c 2p

110 kg x 1 clean PB
115 kg x fail clean

Farmers:

20 kg x 40 m
40 kg x 40 m
60 kg x plates fell off a few metres in
60 kg x plates still fell with spring collars

Went for a hold instead

90 kg x hold for 10 secs and then plates fell off Unhappy

Went inside and found 4 proper collars

95 kg x 15 m
95 kg x 5 m and then the plates still managed to come off

Sacked this off

Yoke:

Bloody idiot parked his car up against the yoke, so took a good few minutes getting this out without wrecking his paint job. I would have liked to have done my yoke runs next to the gym, but another idiot had parked his car in the way. Ended up doing small runs in the tiny car park.

70 kg x 7m drop 7m
110 kg x 7m drop 7m

210 kg x 7m drop 7m
210 kg " " "
210 kg " " "
210 kg " " "

First set was the slowest

2 hours 50

Yeah it was. After checking their website I could have got in for £4 given that my student card doesn't expire until August! Still got an axle rep PB, and some good yoke work so can't complain Happy

Bench:

50 kg x 5
70 kg x 5
90 kg x 5
107.5 kg x 1

117.5 kg x 3 (Would have been a PB but the spoter kept handling the bar at lockout, felt like 100 kg lol)

Squat:

72.5 kg x 5
100 kg x 5
125 kg x 5
150 kg x 5

177.5 kg x 5 PB
195 kg x fail (bumped into the rails)

Was pleased with 177.5 x 5. As I went down on 195 I was standing maybe a few inches of centre, so my right hand hit into the safety rails as I hit depth. I had no chance on 195 kg from a dead stop so dumped the rep.

Front squat:

60 kg x 3

Haven't done this in ages.

Morning bodyweight 16 stone 0 lb or 101.6 kg

The guy using the squat rack before me asked how much I would be squatting.

I said "about 180"

He said "what? pounds ?"
