Nice to see an athlete calmly and articulately explain the events in the in between interview bits. Nice comp too. Iceland was a bit meh. Didn't really get the rules on the deadlift and log. Surely there must have been some kind of time limit between lifts? Felix appears to be frozen in time. I think he will be competing in wsm 2025, just as strong as he is now and looking exactly the same. Never been a massive thor fan but I enjoyed his 450 pull. Then he spoiled it by shouting unintelligibly into the mic after every single event at europes. Even though I'd seen it on YouTube Eddies wr pull was as impressive as ever. I'd love to see him pushed to a true max as it looked so easy. I didn't think the deadlift champs could really maintain itself for a dedicated programme but actually it was an ok watch. I always whinge about this but I think there were soft calls in the max log at Brits. | ||

Looking forward to seeing Licis at the worlds in 2016. Thor's 450 deadlift was an awesome lift. Also very impressed by Heinla. Terry looked huge (just the girth of his legs!) and it's great to see him back. If Terry comes back and is on form, and if Shahlaei and Hicks can return from their injuries are the top 5 Brits now better than the top 5 Americans? | ||
