I loved Andre, but he was all kinds of not mobile. That said, id wager he'd have been an awesome stone lifter.

Later in life definitely, but was it him who could do a lionsault (bounce off bottom rope into a backflip) as a young wrestler? Or am I confusing him with The Big Show?

Yeah just keyhole. The wounds aren't a problem, it's the nausea. Gonna try the ginger tea recommended above, cheers lads.

The nausea was the worst part by far for me, I got given anti-sickness tablets when I left hospital. Those allowed me to actually sleep at night and that made all the difference.
I had my appendix out late December and got in decent enough shape to compete late Feb (far from my strongest though).

I think Mike Burke had the best attempt, but no I don't think so.

I believe Ed could destroy Z axle record.
He said to me in person he could take the log but no one gives a f**k about log these days.
Squat he is unbelievable, I don't think people realise how amazing 340x8 with no equipment actually is, even lille bridge made hard work of 340 for a single with no equipment at all

If he said he could log 250 and squat 500 I'd be inclined to believe him nowadays to be honest. I didn't think he'd ever pull 500 and he proved me wrong there.

6'10" would be the limit of how tall is like to be. I'd like to be 6'8-6'10" ideally. I'm 6'5"-6'6" now and have always loved being tall and never really liked someone being taller.

Wouldn't fancy 30+ stone though. Might hold 23-25 at that height without being too uncomfortable. Hold 22 now without being actively uncomfortable but have been 24 and it wasn't good. Like you said though I'm on board the slimming down bandwagon at the moment.

TLDR: No, that's too heavy.

Edit: just thought, I'd like to be Tom Stoltman's build.

This is why i think Shaw will stay ahead of Thor. Thor may well have the tools to beat Brian, but he isnt as committed to the sport.
Shaws whole life is built around being the WSM, no other top strongman is as committed to winning the top title.

I think that's Shaws key. I remember a few years back when Eddie went to WSM without ever training events, compare that to Shaw who said he was confident in the keg toss because he'd been doing practise runs at home with a higher bar and heavier keg.

By far the best thing for it. Wonder Wipes work as well and might be easier to have on the go.

He probably will, but until he does, he hasn't.

That's why I'm glad Eddie went all out and pulled the 500kg, what someone is capable of and what they have done are often two different things.

I think Terry is probably one of the naturally biggest blokes. Used to be 180kg anyway didn't he?

dazzachap said:Lol I just had a wee squint online for the fastest mile at the heaviest weight, nothing definitive,
but one forum spoke about body composition and weight versus height stats for great mile runners, weight in Lbs divided by inch in height, many top women as low as 1.4 Lbs/inch.

my (not so lean) ratio would be 3.02 lbs/inch for 210 @ 5" 9 1/2'

Wonder who would holds the Sugden crown for highest not so lean ratio? :-)

I come in at exactly 4. 308lbs and 77inches.

Sam is surely going to have the highest figure.

They should run a second olympics where instead of competing as nations, the big pharmaceutical companies enter teams dosed up to the eye balls.

It'll be like winning the constructors championships in F1.

I know this guy who benched 500kg for a triple and he doesn't even train. Cheesey bells.

And bigger

Almost everyone I've spoken to has a mate 'at least twice my size'

Just had a catch up on your log mate. Big bench numbers, well done!

How's the dead lift coming along recently? I'm retiring from dead lifting I think, I cannot stop hurting myself doing it.
