Yeah that 360 was nuts. I can't see ed being right about 450 being second. I think both benni and shaw pull 1000lb+ an f**k knows how high bennie could go seeing that 360. A 450 could end up in 4th depending on if andy comes in on form.

Did Ed say that? i thought he just said he didnt think he would win? thats very, very different from saying he thinks he'd get second.

I'd love to see him pull 450, that would utterly shatter the current british record, and if he was first up at that weight could give him a new world record for a little while.

Yes that was what he said. The main thing i took from it was how crazy it is ed can pull 450 at his age.

I concur. Really don't think anyone will exceed 460 myself

Repping 1000lb ish is immense deadlifting on any setup.
Would love to see Shaw join the 1000lb club on competition day, he must rate his chances of winning it reasonably high to be coming over here to compete, and after that video i can understand why.

Amazing :-)

That last set was 360 on the floor and 450 lockout for a triple! :O

That puts Shaw at the top so far imo.

If all the big pullers come in in top shape it's gonna be amazing. I'm really looking forward to watching it. If I had to put my neck on the line after training with Brian I'd say he'll take it but any of the big 3 could win.

Whatever happens I hope we see loads of massive deadlifts and I'm just gutted they never did stuff like this when my Deadlift was at its strongest.
AvatarThe_Lone_Wolf
Terry what was the max you ever pulled, and do you think you could have got more?
