Iv moved house to a place that happens to be about 5 minutes walk from my gym and I feel like I might as well go there every day even if its just to do really trivial things.

Aside from squats what things would one benefit from doing on a daily basis?

Aye. Stuff like side laterals, bent over raise, barbell curls, abs, shrugs.

Small muscles that take very little to recover from.

Not you jack but it seems like some of you have no training partner. If you keep ripping that small intestine too frequently it will develop psychological problems in which it will not work. The second stage of this is looking for misspelled words. The third stage is moonfang! It started I think in 1608

You can do pretty much every exercise daily if you dont push it to ugly lifts / failure.

If your into olympic lifts then snatches & jerks benefit a lot from daily. Especially in early stages.
